What is chair massage?

Chair massage is a short massage that focuses on the neck, back and shoulders. The massage can last anywhere from 5 minutes to 30 minutes in length. It is done over clothing.

How much space do you need?

I will need a minimum of 10' x 10' square feet of space to work.

Are oils used?

No oil is used in chair massage. 

How long are the chair massages?

The massage can last from 5 minutes to 30 minutes in length. The massages can also include the arms, hands and scalp. 

Do I need to bring anything?

No, I bring all equipment including my professional massage chair, clean face covers, hand sanitizer, relaxing music and disinfectant.

Is there a minimum amount of hours to book?

Yes, there is a 3 hour minimum. Two hour events will be charged at a higher rate. I can easily work 8 hour shifts(with breaks included) on one day and multiple day events. Contact me for rates. I accept credit cards and checks. For chair massage events at the Philadelphia Convention center, a badge must be provided for entry into the event. 

Can I get a chair massage if I am pregnant?

I am certified in pregnancy massage. Please, let me know that you are pregnant, especially if you are in the first trimester when it may not be obvious you are pregnant.

What kind of events work for chair massage?

All kinds of special events have chair massage. A few examples are company parties, golf outings, employee or customer appreciation, bridal showers, picnics, employee wellness, athletic events, trade shows, conventions, girls' night in, anniversaries, client gifts, health fairs, company launches, birthday parties, spa parties, Nurses' Week, Teachers' Week, etc...

Hand/foot reflexology and foot massage are available at a higher rate.

What about gratuities?

Gratuities are greatly appreciated. The average tip is fifteen to twenty percent. You can add a gratuity via credit card, check or cash. The quote provided does not include a gratuity.

What types of payments do you accept?

I accept credit cards, cash, check and direct deposit. For your convenience, you can add a gratuity on the invoice if you are paying by credit card.

Yes! I do weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly and more on going events-depending on my schedule.

We only want one therapist.  Do you work by yourself?

 Absolutely! Many, many small and large companies only want one therapist and I work by myself on all events.

How far in advance should I book?

Book me as far in advance as possible. I work all events by myself. The further in advance, the better. It is easier to book me if you are flexible with dates and times. Thank you!
